Baccarat looks formal and is actually the simplest card game in the casino, because you make one choice and the dealer does the rest. This guide is independent and not run by BDBAJEE. We did not confirm which live tables BDBAJEE carries, so check the live section yourself. Below are the rules as they generally work, and the mistakes dealers watch players repeat.
The three bets
Two hands are dealt, called player and banker. You bet on which will finish closer to nine, or on a tie. Cards two to nine count at face value, tens and picture cards count zero, aces count one. Only the last digit of a total matters, so a hand worth fifteen counts as five.
- Player: pays even money in most games.
- Banker: usually pays even money minus a commission on winning bets, per the table rules.
- Tie: pays far more but lands rarely; most players are better off avoiding it.
How the drawing works
You do not decide whether a hand takes a third card; a fixed procedure does. A hand with a total of eight or nine, called a natural, ends the round at once. Otherwise the player hand draws on low totals, and the banker hand follows a set table that depends on the player's third card.
You do not have to memorise the table, and the dealer applies it automatically. It is worth knowing that nothing the dealer or you do affects it.
Side bets and pace
Many live tables add side bets such as pairs or bonus bets. They pay well and cost more per unit in expectation than the main bets. The table's rules panel lists what exists and the payouts. Read it before betting.
Rounds are quick. A table can deal a round every half-minute or so, which means the amount at risk per hour can be much larger than at a slot with a similar stake. Set a budget in rounds as well as taka.
Scoreboards and streaks
Most tables display a road of past results. Players read patterns into them. The cards are shuffled, so history cannot tell you what comes next. A run of bankers does not make player due. For more of the live section, see the live casino hub; a different two-hand game is Dragon Tiger.
